Forest of Dean in Autumn Colours
During our late November getaway with the Caravan to Bracelands Campsite in the Forest of Dean, I had the opportunity to immerse myself in the breathtaking Autumn colours. I was happy to capture some stunning shots.
Despite the expected changeable weather in early November, the first day on the campsite turned out to be a complete washout. With relentless rain drenching the surroundings throughout the day and night, limiting our outdoor activities.
However, the following morning brought a pleasant surprise. As the mist wrapped itself around the Forest, it created an enchanting atmosphere. I couldn’t resist grabbing my camera and capturing the ethereal beauty surrounding us. The play of soft light and misty landscapes created a magical setting, allowing me to capture the essence and tranquility of the Forest.
Each click of the shutter captured the vibrant colors of Autumn leaves, the delicate droplets of mist on the branches, and the serenity that enveloped the campsite.
Overall, despite the initial rainy setback, this trip provided a memorable experience filled with the captivating beauty of Autumn in the Forest of Dean.
Stunning Aerial Views
I took the drone out and immersed myself in the breathtaking beauty of the Forest of Dean during the glorious autumn season. The vibrant golden hues that adorned the landscape were truly a sight to behold, and I couldn’t resist the temptation to capture this natural spectacle through the lens of my DJI Mini 3 Pro.
However, I must admit that the drone’s range left me slightly disappointed. After venturing only about 450 meters away, I started experiencing frustrating signal issues that hindered my ability to fully explore and capture the mesmerizing scenery. It was disheartening to face this obstacle, but I am determined to delve deeper into the matter and identify the specific setting that needs to be adjusted in order to resolve this issue.
Despite the setback, I managed to salvage the situation and make the most of the opportunity. I captured some footage and further honed my skills with the drone, which served as a valuable learning experience. Even in moments of adversity, there is always something to be gained.
All in all, my adventure with the DJI Mini 3 Pro in the Forest of Dean consisted of awe-inspiring moments and technical challenges. It has fueled my curiosity to delve deeper into the world of drone photography and explore the endless possibilities it offers. I look forward to future expeditions, armed with the knowledge gained from this experience, and capturing even more breathtaking moments in the realm of aerial photography.
