OUR SCOTTISH COTTAGE HOLIDAY – SEPTEMBER 2023

In September of this year, we were fortunate enough to book a cottage holiday at West Gorton Cottage. This secluded cottage is located near Grantown-on-Spey in the Cairngorms National Park in the Scottish Highlands.

During this trip, I had the opportunity to fly my newly acquired DJI Mini 3 Pro Drone. As a newly certified drone pilot, I was eager to test my flying abilities and explore the possibilities of using the drone for photography and videography. This was a completely new experience for me.

Below, I have included some footage from the trip, which also features my very first attempt at video editing. I know that I have a lot to learn and improve upon in the next 12 months, so please excuse any unprofessionalism in my initial attempt to work with this new media (well, new to me at least 😊).
