Hello everybody, it would appear that I have been noticable by my absence, but I am hoping to put an end to that very soon and catch up on some blogging again after a very busy Summer.
I hope to be able to share some of my experiences with you very soon as I try to kick-start my Blog into life again.
I want to start by sharing something beautiful that caught my eye today in Worksop.
The French Horn Hotel, in Potter Street, Worksop, an absolutely amazing building, with some stunning Victorian tile work that just picked up the afternoon sunlight perfectly and stood out like a jewel.
I was somewhat saddened to see the building boarded up as I am sure in its central position, directly opposite the main entrance to the Bassetlaw District Council offices it is steeped in the history of the town and has certainly seen a lot.
I would really love to hear from anyone that can tell me a little of its past history and perhaps even of its future, because it would really be a shame to lose such a beautiful building, so please leave some comments if you know anything about The French Horn Hotel.
